Ring Joint Gaskets (RTJ)
Spiral wound gaskets consist of a V-shaped metal strip spirally wound in combination with a soft, filler material. The metal strip provides outstanding recovery, while the flexible filler guarantees excellent sealing.
Due to this combination of materials the spiral wound gasket is suitable for sealing under severely fluctuating temperature and pressure conditions. Depending on the application, the spiral wound gasket can be specified with outer and/or inner rings.

Ring Joint Gaskets (RTJ) APPLICATIONS
Ring Type Joint (RTJ) Gaskets are precision-machined metallic sealing rings designed for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. They are commonly used with RTJ flanges where a strong and reliable metal-to-metal seal is required. These gaskets deform slightly when tightened, creating a tight, leak-proof seal that can withstand extreme pressure, vibration, and corrosive media. They are widely used in oil & gas, petrochemical, refineries, and offshore drilling operations where safety and performance are critical.
